So you are on the built number NPF26J you can also enable this DT2W feature in your device.For checking your built number go to setting -> about -> built number.Check if the built number is written  is same with this one NPF26J.
The original name of this feature is Double tap to wake, but Google calls it Double-tap to check the phone.Yeah, the name is different, but the work is same.

3. Turn on the toggle for Double-tap to check phone.

You just enable  Double-tap to check phone on your pixel device. Now lock your device and double tap on your screen without pressing lock button it will automatically wake up and you can check the notification directly on your lock screen.
